Christian Pulisic has had his career at Chelsea sabotaged by persistent injuries, which has hampered his consistent progress at the club.
The 22-year-old who only recently recovered from injury, was back to the treatment table yet again, as he suffered a hamstring injury while warming up in the buildup to the game against Burnley last weekend.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard had revealed that it’s a minor injury, and Pulisic will be back in no time, with US boss Gregg Berhalter, backing his star man to bounce back from this phase.
“I know Chelsea is doing everything they can. I know he is doing every single thing he can and he is really focused and dedicated to staying fit,” Gregg Berhalter told ProSoccerTalk.
“I believe he will get to this level of resistance where he stays fit, but building that up sometimes is challenging.
“I know he’s a fantastic player and it is great to see what he’s been doing, but he’s in good hands with the club and they are doing everything they can to get him on the field.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea have coped fine without Pulisic, as the Blues have won 3-0 in their last two games.
