Despite his Champions League goal against Rennes, Callum Hudson-Odoi did not make the 18-man squad for the game against Tottenham Hotspur.

Hudson-Odoi was excellent in the win over Rennes, opening the scoring with a calmly taken goal, while looking a threat throughout.

According to Football London, Hudson-Odoi was fit for the game against Tottenham Hotspur but failed to make the squad for tactical reasons.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard preferred to have Christian Pulisic on the bench and left out Hudson-Odoi instead.
