A visibly angry Frank Lampard has revealed what his players must do following Tuesday’s night 2-1 defeat at Wolves.
It’s the first time fifth-placed Chelsea have lost back-to-back games this season and Lampard cut a frustrated figure on the touchline and in his gloomy post-match interview.
Following consecutive defeats to Everton and Wolves, Lampard has urged his players to use the next week to think about what exactly went wrong after two losses in four days.
“Yeah, that’s important [the rest before Chelsea’s clash with West Ham next Monday] but maybe for the players also to think about the game while they’re resting,” Lampard said.
“Think about tonight, think about Everton.
“This is the Premier League and if you don’t perform you lost games and we’ve got another game on Monday.”
