Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta agrees with Chelsea boss Frank Lampard that Saturday’s Premier League opponent Arsenal are a dangerous team despite their struggles this season.
The Gunners have had their worst start to a top-flight campaign since 1974 after just eight wins from their opening 14 games in the Premier League and are hovering just four points above the relegation zone in 15th place.
“We were obviously disappointed with that result [in the FA Cup] but now we’re four months later, it’s a different competition and a new game,” Azpilicueta told Chelsea’s official website.
“They are not in their best form but we know their qualities and that they have dangerous players so we have to cope with that.
“We respect them and we know it’s going to be tough but we need points so hopefully we can go there and play our game.
“We have the confidence and belief to do that and obviously we will try to get the points.”
