Chelsea and Arsenal reached the final of the FA Cup last season, but it was the North London side who were victorious at the end of the day.
It’s been four months since that FA Cup final defeat which pained many Blues fans after the restart, and Chelsea have the opportunity to avenge that defeat in the Premier League on Saturday.
Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta who conceded a penalty in that final, clearly hasn’t forgotten that game and he’s keen to get a win against the Gunners.
However, Azpilicueta is still wary of the threat of the Arsenal team despite their very poor form of late.
“We were obviously disappointed with that result [in the FA Cup] but now we’re four months later, it’s a different competition and a new game,” Azpilicueta told the club’s official website.
“They are not in their best form but we know their qualities and that they have dangerous players so we have to cope with that.
“We respect them and we know it’s going to be tough but we need points so hopefully we can go there and play our game.
“We have the confidence and belief to do that and obviously we will try to get the points.”
