Chelsea U23s thrashed Manchester United U23s 6-1 to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Chelsea took the lead after just two minutes as Tino Anjorin set up attacker Marcel Lewis for his first of the afternoon.
Less than 60 seconds later, 16-year-old striker Jude Soonsup-Bell doubled Chelsea’s lead and the Red Devils found themselves 2-0 down after just three minutes.
We were then made to wait until the 34th minute for our next goal and it was Tino Anjorin who got what he deserved after a quality first-half display.
The Blues continued our dominance in the second half and Anjorin struck again, this time from the spot after Tino Livramento was tripped in the box.
Goals five and six were within four minutes of each other. The first, scored by Lewis, sealed a brace for the 19-year-old. Then, Charlie Brown was introduced and joined in on the act moments later.
Manchester United scored a consolation five minutes from time through Joe Hugill.
