Chelsea youngster Billy Gilmour is being linked with a move away from the club in the January transfer window, on a loan deal.
The 19-year-old only recently returned from a four-month injury layoff, and is gradually getting back to speed.
Gilmour was given his first start of the season in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Krasnodar, and he ended up being the man of the match, reminiscent of his man of the match performances against Liverpool and Everton before lockdown last season.
Rangers are rumoured to be interested in Gilmour, despite having sold him in 2017.
The Scottish Sun claim Rangers are interested in bringing him back to Ibrox on a loan deal until the end of the season.
With Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante currently ahead of him in the central midfield role, a loan deal may be the best option for Gilmour until he gets back to fitness.
Rangers fans seem pleased with the idea, and some Chelsea fans are also pleased with the move.
