Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has made one change to the Chelsea side that defeated Leeds United last weekend, with Mateo Kovacic coming in for the injured Hakim Ziyech.

Interestingly, Chelsea will play this game without a recognised winger, with Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi out injured and Christian Pulisic also absent.

Chelsea starting XI: Mendy; James, Thiago Silva (c), Zouma, Chilwell; Mount, Kante, Kovacic; Havertz, Giroud, Werner.

Subs: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Jorginho, Gilmour, Anjorin, Abraham.

Everton starting XI: Pickford; Godfrey, Mina, Keane, Iwobi, Doucoure, Allan, Sigurdsson (c), Holgate, Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin

Subs Lossl, Holgate, Sigurdsson, Gomes, Davies, Tosun, Bernard.
