Chelsea boss Frank Lampard made 10 changes from the previous weekend’s win against Leeds for what was a dead rubber against Krasnodar in the Champions League.
The Blues were already guaranteed top spot in the group after beating Sevilla in MD5.
Ahead of the game against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday, Chelsea will be without Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech. Both players are ruled out for two weeks with hamstring injuries.
Lampard is expected to change the entire team that started against Krasnodar on Tuesday. Kai Havertz could be the only player to keep his place at Goodison Park, depending on how Lampard looks to cope without Ziyech and Hudson-Odoi on the right wing.
Chelsea could move to the top of the table with victory on Saturday night, with Tottenham and Liverpool not in action until Sunday.
Chelsea XI vs Everton (4-3-3): Mendy; James, Zouma, Thiago, Chilwell; Havertz, Kante, Mount; Werner, Giroud, Pulisic
