Top UK media outlet The Guardian, has carried out a list of football’s best 100 players, and only five Chelsea players made the cut.

The highest ranked Chelsea player in the list is Timo Werner, who was placed on number 30.

Kai Havertz is the next Chelsea player on the list as he came in at 50th spot.

Thiago Silva closely follows Havertz in 53rd position, with N’Golo Kante coming in at 54th.

Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is the 5th Chelsea player to make the cut, and he came in 60th place.

Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard’s stock has dropped so badly that he fell as low as 86th place in the rankings.

Robert Lewandowski topped the list as the best footballer in 2020. 12 Liverpool players made the cut, while 7 Manchester City players made the top 100.
