According to The Sun, French club Nice are ready to submit a loan bid for out-of-favour Chelsea player Fikayo Tomori in January.
The deal is unlikely to be hit by the new post-Brexit transfer regulations.
British players now have to qualify for work permits before European sides can sign them up. It is believed Tomori’s game time at Chelsea won’t affect a move to Nice as he has proven Premier League experience plus an England cap.
Tomori has made just three appearances for Chelsea this season, with his last outing coming in the Carabao Cup defeat against Tottenham on September 29.
Nice reportedly want to sign Tomori on loan until the end of the season after they lost defender Dante to a knee ligament injury.
