Tottenham’s game against Fulham slated for Wednesday evening has since been called off.

The announcement was done barely five hours before kick off, and Jose Mourinho wasn’t a happy man.

Shortly before the announcement he posted a video of him and his staff sitting on sofas, waiting to know the fate of their game.

Mourinho then complained: “Match at 6 pm… We still don’t know if we play. Best league in the world.”

Meanwhile, there’s a debate as to whether the league should go on a two weeks break or should still be played.

According to The Telegraph, Premier League clubs are mulling over a two-week break in January.

The UK government intends to review the tier situation on Wednesday, meaning that could give us an insight as to what the league may decide.

There may now be an uncertainty of games in the Premier League, with the second wave of the coronavirus hitting hard.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s next game against Manchester City could also be affected.
