Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour impressed in his first start of the season as the Blues drew 1-1 against Russian side Krasnodar at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
The Scottish teenager had only recently returned to the team following a knee injury he suffered last season.
Reports had claimed Chelsea are considering to send the youngster out on loan during the January transfer window but Chelsea boss Frank Lampard insists the teenager will remain at the club following his performance against Krasnodar.
On whether Billy Gilmour will stay or go on loan, Lampard said: “Not sure. The way he trains and plays I can see him with us. I have to make sure the pathway is right.”
