About 2000 fans were present at Stamford Bridge to help cheer the team to a 3-1 victory over Leeds United.
Chelsea had a good game against Leeds, but it wasn’t an easy game against a fast pressing Marcelo Bielsa side.
The Blues had gone down to an early goal from Patrick Bamford, but fought back to win the game 3-1, with the 2000 fans spurring the team on.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard greeted the fans at the end of the match, and speaking after the game, he admitted that it was great to have them back.
Lampard said: “It was great to have them back, their input was huge with the noise they made.
“You could see how excited they were at the end that we are top of the league. My job and our job is to know that it is a long season and the next question is how consistent can we be with this form, how much can we improve because I believe there is lot more we can do, and there will be a lot of challenges ahead.”
Chelsea are currently top of the league, pending when Liverpool and Tottenham play later today.
