Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso aimed a sly dig at Chelsea boss Frank Lampard after Chelsea’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal.

Alonso has been frozen out of the first team since the arrival of Ben Chilwell for £52million.

The Spaniard has found himself behind Chilwell and Emerson Palmieri in pecking order since the 3-3 draw at West Brom.

Following Chelsea’s defeat to Arsenal on Boxing Day, Alonso liked an Instagram post about Chelsea’s defeat to the Gunners.

Alonso wasn’t named in Lampard’s 20-man squad that travelled to the Emirates and the Spaniard hasn’t helped his situation at the club after liking the post.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is unlikely to be happy with Alonso for clicking the post.
