According to talkSPORT via Tribal Football, Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia is close to reaching an agreement with Rennes for Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori.
Tomori is expected to join Rennes on loan for the rest of the season after failing to play much for Chelsea this season following the arrival of Thiago Silva.
Tomori was on the verge of leaving in the last transfer window but rejected a move as he looked to prove he was good enough for the Blues first-team.
That has failed to materialise but the club have not given up on him and are keen on Tomori gaining for first-team experience.
