Chelsea took the lead at Molineux on Tuesday night through Olivier Giroud before Wolves winger Daniel Podence scored the equaliser. Pedro Neto then scored the winner for the hosts.
A new evidence has emerged showing Podence equaliser for Wolves shouldn’t have counted.
Seconds before Wolves scored their equalizer through Podence, the Blues conceded a corner which clearly went off Wolves defender Willy Boly’s body.
The corner wasn’t properly cleared by the Blues and Wolves scored their equaliser.
Chelsea should’ve been preparing for a goal-kick with Edouard Mendy and not defending a cornerkick which resulted in a goal.
The picture below clearly shows Thiago Silva’s clearance hitting Boly on its way out.

While it hurts a cornerkick was given instead of a goalkick, Chelsea should still have done enough to stop the goal.
