Former Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Green has slammed Chelsea for being “too nice” in our defeat to Arsenal on Boxing Day.

Green told Sky Sports: “It was too nice.

“You have got a team that are down there, as low as they can be and you have an opportunity to win three points.

“Frank wants a Chelsea team like the one he played in and they were horrible to play against.

“You looked across and think ‘oh God, we are in for a game tonight’ and it would be really tough and it wasn’t. It was slow, passive and it was too nice off the ball, they allowed Arsenal space.

“And all that we said about the Arsenal youngsters, we didn’t see from Chelsea and that is what will have infuriated Frank.”
