Chelsea boss Frank Lampard didn’t have wide players to face Everton, and it showed in the 1-0 defeat at the Goodison Park.

Hakim Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic all missed the game to hamstring injury, and Chelsea found it difficult to take advantage of wing play to break down the Toffees defence.

Meanwhile, a couple of Chelsea fans have urged Lampard to tweak his formation a bit until the return of our wide players.

Fans have asked for Lampard to make use of wing-backs to help provide the requisite wing process, with Emerson Palmieri and Reece James tipped as good enough to fill that role on both flanks.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
