According to Sky Sports via Daily Mail, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is considering bringing back former Chelsea boss Avram Grant to add some experience to Frank Lampard’s coaching staff.

Abramovich reportedly believes 65 year old Grant will add invaluable experience to Lampard’s young coaching staff.

Grant spent just one season as Chelsea boss after replacing Jose Mourinho and guided the Blues to our first Champions League final in 2008, which we lost to Manchester United.

Chelsea returned to winning ways in the FA Cup third round against Morecambe on Sunday, but have won just one of our last six Premier League matches.

Abramovich reportedly believes experience is needed in Chelsea’s coaching staff and feels Grant is the man to add experience to Lampard’s coaching staff.
