Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is under pressure at the club following a poor run of form that has the Blues lose 4 of our last 6 Premier League games.

While Lampard’s job is under no immediate threat despite reports claiming a shortlist of replacements have been compiled, the Chelsea legend has been given a deadline by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to turn things around at the club.

According to The Sun via Daily Star, Abramovich has given Lampard till the end of the season to prove he is worthy of continuing as Chelsea boss.

Lampard is halfway through his three-year contract and the club is reluctant to sack the legend midway through the season but will do so at the end of the season if Lampard fails to meet his objective of at least a Champions League qualification.

Meanwhile, Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic admits the tension is cranking up and that ninth-placed Chelsea need to deliver soon.

The American international, 22, said: “We’re in a tough period. It’s not going to be easy but we need to show character now.

“We have some games coming up where we need to turn it around quickly and start putting together a run of results.”

The central midfield is not performing at all, so Chelsea should and sign central midfield ers like Houssem About,Isco or Charles Canales of Real Betis

    Thanks

It is sad that Frank Lampard is being so much pampered. Roman Abramovich should please show Frank Lampard the exit door now because he has destroyed so many people including myself. I am half dead due to his poor result out of his inefficiency in the handling of the team. I am so pained in his attitude towards some players. What is the rational of him playing man city without an outright sticker. Why do he always subs Oliver Jeroud each time he scores a goal as if he don’t want to win the game. I have watched him for so many times. Please, investigate him.

I am a concerned Chelsea fan. How come Werner and Kai were stars where they came from and now they underperform and appear to have lost confidence in themselves. How come in-form players like Odoi and Giroud must come in as substitutes or be substituted even when, currently, they are in awesome form. Why are our players so much into playing the ball backwards even when not necessary? Why are our strikers afraid of shooting from far? Why is Lampard content with the slow speed (conspicuous defence weakness) of our defenders, apart from Zouma? Lampard, you must identify your weaknesses and the strength of individual players and adjust. Is Chelsea just unlucky or are you contributing to the poor results? Please do something.

  5. The lampard we have we as a coach is not the same one we had a Player.
We have already seen what lampard can do and what he cannot do.
Lampard failed us as fans and team Already.I dont know why he is around cobham?
He should exit before its too late.
If he cant attain anything with these great Players he cant attain anything with any Player even if hes Messy or CR7.

  7. The sentiments of using up-coming stars will
eventually cost Lampard.Bringing them in as subs will help them build up.Giving this lads upper hand as if they are the best will kill the moral of signed and experienced players.he doesn’t have his eleven squad.lampard is currently facing our Nigerians national team problems. Not using d right squad because of some influecial status but his is sentiment and could be inexperience.
