Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen was blamed for his role in Aston Villa’s goal in the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge last Monday.

Christensen was fouled in the buildup to Anwar El Ghazi’s goal, but many criticised the Dane, with Chelsea legend John Terry insisting that he should have stood up.

Meanwhile, a new report from Nizaar Kinsella of Goal has provided a fresh perspective to the incident.

According to Kinsella, Christensen went for a scan on his knee a couple of days ago, revealing that he wasn’t acting up and was indeed affected by the incident.

Probably, the goal shouldn’t have stood in the first place.
