Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has had a good impact at the club since signing for Chelsea.
The 36-year-old has formed a good partnership with Kurt Zouma, and the Blues defence have been in top form until a recent slump that has seen the club lose four of their last six games.
Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has revealed that Silva has done okay since moving to the Premier League, although claimed that the pace of the game in England is a cause for concern for the 36-year-old.
“Thiago Silva is 36, he moved to Chelsea and, although he hasn’t been that bad, to me it looks as though he is struggling to keep up with the pace of the Premier League,” he told Betfair.
Meanwhile, Silva has backed his teammates to work hard and bounce back from the recent defeats.
Thiago Silva told Chelsea’s official website: “We have to do much better, work harder. A team like Chelsea can’t go a long time without a victory.”
