The sack of Frank Lampard as Chelsea manager has brought a lot of rumours (both real and false), with so many news making the rounds about the happenings in the Chelsea dressing room.
There have been claims that the former Chelsea manager didn’t see eye to eye with some of his players, and rumours also claimed that Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger repeatedly clashed with captain Cesar Azpilicueta who tried to ease the tensions in the team.
Rumours had claimed that Antonio Rudiger grew so dissatisfied with his game time that he became agitated even with some players.
According to The Telegraph, some of the team’s younger players who got a lot of games under Lampard complained that some team members believe they were being favoured by the Englishman.
Meanwhile, Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has now moved to squash all those rumours.
Tammy Abraham posted on Twitter on Tuesday evening: “Hearing some mad stuff about @ToniRuediger on social media today. Compete nonsense. Toni is a big bro to all of us.”
Chelsea fans had called for the head of Rudiger on social media, with the hashtag #Rudigerout becoming popular.
Azpilicueta followed up Abraham’s message of support for Rudiger with a picture of himself celebrating alongside Rudiger.
