Any hope of a title fight this season, may be a hard shot, as the Blues are now 10 points behind the top after 17 round of matches played.

Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Burnley has put Olé Gunnar Solskjaer’s side at the top of the table, with Liverpool currently three points behind.

Chelsea were in the race for the title just over a month ago, but things seem to have changed after four defeats in the last six games.

Also, Chelsea have dropped a bit in the race for a Champions League place, as the Blues are now 6 points behind Everton who are currently 4th after beating Wolves 2-1 on Tuesday night.

For Chelsea and Frank Lampard, it’s time for the Blues to start picking up valuable points, starting with this weekend’s clash against Fulham.

At this stage of the season, the chasing packs are beginning to get separated, and it’s time for Chelsea to up their gear and lay claim to at least a top four fight.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
