Disappointed, hurt and annoyed were the expressions on Frank Lampard’s face after the 2-0 defeat to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Chelsea team were outplayed by Brendan Rodgers side, as the Foxes were by far the better team.

The loss now means Chelsea have lost five of their last eight Premier League games, and this could signal the end for Frank Lampard, after a summer spending spree of over £200m.

Highly rated transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano revealed via a tweet after the loss to Leicester City, that the Chelsea board are disappointed with the defeat.

Meanwhile, The Athletic reporter Simon Johnson has recently said that Frank Lampard could get the sack if he loses the game against Leicester City.
