Chelsea overcame a recent slump to get a huge 4-0 win in the FA Cup third round tie against Morecambe.

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount opened the scoring for Chelsea in the first half, as a shot from outside the box beat the away team’s goalkeeper after 18 minutes.

A Chelsea fan Jermaine Enyie has raised a valid point following the game, as he revealed that the Chelsea team currently lacks someone who can take a shot from distance.

Truly, Chelsea try to open up team’s defence from the flanks and through the middle. A good shot from outside the box will definitely be a bonus to the team’s attacking play.

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has backed Mount to score more goals for the team.

“Mason can, should and will score more goals from midfield,” Lampard told Chelsea TV when asked about Mount’s display.

“It was his birthday today and because of the amount of games he’s played already in his young career, you forget how young he is.

“That will be part of his development and it’s the same sort of thing with Kai and Timo on a different level.”
