Chelsea ranked number 5 in UEFA’s top five ranking

Chelsea have been ranked in UEFA’s top 10 ranking, with the Blues having won the Champions League once in the past decade.

Based on Chelsea’s performances in Europe over the last decade, the Blues finished top 5 in UEFA’s club coefficient ranking,

Chelsea won the Champions League in 2012 for the first time in the club’s history, and Chelsea have had a good record in Europe in recent years, having won the Europa League just a year after winning the Champions League.

Chelsea won the Europa League for second time of being in the competition, back in 2019 under Maurizio Sarri.

Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona take up the top 3 spots respectively, with Atletico Madrid just above Chelsea in 4th. Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, and Man United are the other English teams to have made it to the top-30.

Meanwhile, the rankings determine a team’s seeding in future UEFA competitions.
