Jorginho has been at Chelsea since 2018 when he made the move from Italian side Napoli alongside former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.
Jorginho has struggled to establish himself as a key player for Chelsea as he did at Napoli and has managed less then 1000 minutes of action in the Premier League this season.
Chelsea have now made a decision on the Italian international’s future at the club with his current contract set to expire in 2023.
According to Sport Witness, Chelsea have opened discussions with Jorginho about extending his stay at Stamford Bridge.
The report claims Chelsea are offering Jorginho a two-year extension to his current deal which expires in 2023.
However, Jorginho’s willingness to extend his stay at Chelsea will depend on his role under new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.
