Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater has had a rough time since sealing a move from Leicester City to Chelsea in 2017.

The 30-year-old had unsuccessful loan spells with Aston Villa and Burnley last season, and it was filled with controversial moments.

Drinkwater has since been frozen out of the Chelsea first team since Maurizio Sarri era, and since his last loan exit, no club has shown tangible interest in the former England International.

Nizaar Kinsella, a very reliable source when it comes to transfer news has reported that Danny Drinkwater is set for a spell out on loan to Turkish side Kasimpasa.

Kasimpasa are currently stuck in mid-table in the Turkish league, and this will be a welcome development for the midfielder whose career since leaving Leicester City has been filled with controversy. The last time we heard from Drinkwater, he got a red card in an U23 game as he lashed out on a 16-year-old.

Hopefully, he’d do well out on loan this time.
