Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland ahead of the summer.
Haaland has a £68million release clause in his Borussia Dortmund contract which doesn’t become effective until 2022 but Chelsea are willing to pay above his release clause to secure him this summer.
Chelsea reportedly want to sign Haaland this summer as it is believed clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United, who are also interested, will prefer to wait until the summer of 2020.
Haaland has now reportedly made a decision on his future amid interest from Chelsea.
Reports from Germany have suggested Haaland will want to stay put for another year to continue his development at Borussia Dortmund instead of leaving to join Chelsea this summer.
