Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has urged Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to give Chelsea boss Frank Lampard more time to turn things around.

The Blues have won just once in our last six Premier League games, losing four games in the same period.

The Blues spent over £200million during the summer transfer window to strengthen the squad and a lot was expected from the team this season.

Ancelotti insists patience is needed after Chelsea signed a lot of players during the summer.

Ancelotti told Gazzetta dello Sport: “They’ve bought a lot of players in the summer and in this case, like at Juventus, there needs to be patience, a rare commodity in football.”
