Chelsea will be away to Fulham at the Craven Cottage on Saturday evening, and it’s a game Frank Lampard will be targeting a victory.
In a publication on Goal, Fulham star Lookman Ademola and former Chelsea youngster Ola Aina were named as players of Nigerian descent to watch for in that game.
Goal assessment went thus: “Fulham’s run of solid performances continued in midweek when they played out a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in North London.
“Ademola Lookman came off the bench to assist Ivan Cavaleiro’s equalizer while Ola Aina featured on the right of a back three as the Cottagers picked up their fifth stalemate on the spin.”
Lookman was a second half substitute in the game against Tottenham, when Fulham were still behind, and he provided a key assist for Ivan Cavaleiro to cancel out Harry Kane’s first-half goal.
Meanwhile, Fulham boss Scott Parker was full of praise for Ademola Lookman after the game, and claimed that the 23-year-old can create a chance out of nothing.
“After the Covid-19 problems, he came on and showed his quality. He helped the team with the assist and boosted his chances with us,” Parker told BBC Sports.
“The second half, the way the game was going I felt the second goal was coming. You have someone on the pitch there like Ademola Lookman who carves chances out of nothing.”
