Thomas Tuchel has agreed to become Chelsea’s new boss following the sacking of Frank Lampard on Monday morning.
Lampard has left Chelsea with the club sat ninth in the table, four points shy of the top-four, with half of the season remaining.
Tuchel was the obvious option as he has been out of work for a matter of weeks after being sacked by PSG last month.
For Chelsea fans wondering to expect from Tuchel as Chelsea boss, Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who worked under Tuchel at Dortmund, has revealed what to expect.
“He is one of the best coaches I have ever had, I cannot deny his talent,” Aubameyang told SFR Sport back in 2018 before Tuchel was appointed as PSG boss.
“He could be a good fit with PSG, but if he goes on the adventure, we’ll have to see how he keeps the changing room together, I think that’s the hardest thing at a big club.
“He is a bit crazy, just like me.
“You could say that his style is similar to that of Guardiola, they let their teams play in the same way, he likes to be on the ball and to play football, whatever happens, he has the qualities, it’s up to now him to prove it.”
