Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori is expected to join Italian club AC Milan on loan this week and various reports have claimed the Italian club have an option to sign the England defender permanently.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has refused to confirm whether Chelsea will agree to an option to buy being included in the loan deal that takes Fikayo Tomori to AC Milan for the remainder of the campaign.
“There is no detail, that’s not been confirmed,” Lampard replied when asked if such a clause was in place.
Tomori was a regular for Chelsea during the first half of last season but fell out of favour at the start of last year and has never been able to regain his place.
He has made just three appearances for the Blues this season and made just seven appearances in 2020.
