Chelsea have been strongly linked with a transfer for West Ham star Declan Rice but Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been told he must sell to raise funds for any transfer.
According to Daily Star, Lampard is reluctant to lose Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori despite the potential funds going towards top target Declan Rice.
Italian club AC Milan are keen on signing the Chelsea defender and also want to include an option to buy the England defender in the loan deal.

Lampard does not want to lose the England international for good and only wants to let him leave on a temporary basis to continue his development.
“There is a long-term plan for Fikayo in my head about his career here,” Lampard said about Tomori’s Chelsea future amid interest from AC Milan.
“If he goes out on loan, it will be to enhance his personal development, hopefully help the team he goes to, and come back as a better player.”
