Chelsea have been unable to get a win in the last three league games, as the Blues were beaten 3-1 by Arsenal and Manchester City, and also played out a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.
The winless run in the last three league games coupled with defeats to Wolves and Everton, have seen Chelsea drop down to 9th in the league.
With such a bad form, Chelsea players are supposed to be low in morale, but Frank Lampard has admitted that he he has noticed a buoyant mood ahead of facing Fulham, not only from the players but from the staff as well.
Lampard said ahead of the Fulham clash: “My concern has been training and the atmosphere around that because when you haven’t won for a few games it’s clear the players need to stay positive.
“That starts from the staff. I have seen good reactions from the players. They have worked hard. We have had two pretty long weeks of training for pretty much the first time this season.
“We have had a chance to work in training on bigger elements of our game. We have worked at a really physical level which is important if you want to improve as a team.”
