Chelsea’s form in the Premier League had dropped before the game against Fulham as the Blues had lost four of their last six games and then dropped to 9th in the league.
Chelsea have now won their last two games in all competitions, following a 4-0 win against Morecambe and a 1-0 win against Fulham.
Mount who scored in both games have now revealed that he believes the side is getting back to form.
Mount said: “It was a massive game for us. We know the run we have been through, recently it has been tough. We have had to look at ourselves and it was good to get the win against Morecambe, that was a step of getting wins under our belt again and Fulham was a tough, tough game.
“We went on that run when we were doing very well and you can’t let complacency set in and then we went on a run of not doing well but that’s football, it is up and down, and we have shown character recently to really dig in and work hard first and foremost in training, going up against each other and having that competition and knowing that we need to work hard and be as team to get the three points.
“I think we are getting back to where we were before and that is the positive we can take out of it.”
