Chelsea legend Frank Lampard didn’t get the desired farewell he deserved after ending his playing career with the Blues, and he didn’t also get the desired farewell as a manager, with fans not present to give him a befitting farewell.
Reports now claim that the Blues legend wasn’t even given the opportunity to say goodbye to his players after his sacking was confirmed.
According to Sky Sports correspondent Gary Cotterill who was at Chelsea’s Cobham training base, Frank Lampard’s sacking was ‘brutal’, as he revealed that neither Lampard nor his assistants Jody Morris and Chris Jones, were allowed to the training ground to say goodbyes to the players and the remaining staff.
Meanwhile, former PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is set to take over at Stamford Bridge, just a month after being dismissed as PSG boss.
