There have been so many claims and speculations making the rounds about Chelsea boss Frank Lampard since the 3-1 defeat to Manchester City.
According to The Athletic, Lampard is now in ‘serious danger’ of losing his job, and journalist Liam Twomey says the board have “already begun making alternative plans” to replace the Chelsea gaffer.
However, some have gone on to claim that Lampard doesn’t have the full backing of the Chelsea dressing room.
It’s been claimed there are “tensions” between the manager and several fringe members of the squad. But those reports don’t seem to be true, as the Blues squad seems to be behind the manager.
Olivier Giroud hasn’t had as many game time as he would like, but the 34-year-old has shown his support for the manager in a recent interview.
There have been no tangible source claiming a dressing room unrest is the case in the Chelsea camp, and Lampard is experienced in such situations having experienced quite a few during his playing days at Chelsea.
For now, all we can do is support the club through thick and thin.
