Chelsea legend John Terry has reacted after Burnley ended Liverpool’s unbeaten home record with a 1-0 victory at Anfield on Thursday night.
Liverpool had gone 68-games unbeaten at Anfield before the defeat to Burnley and Terry has now questioned whether any team would ever be good enough to beat Chelsea’s record unbeaten home record.
Terry was a key figure in a Chelsea team that went 86 matches unbeaten at Stamford Bridge.
Reacting to the end of Liverpool’s unbeaten run, Terry posted a picture celebrating Chelsea’s 86-game unbeaten home record with the caption: “4 Years Unbeaten At Home Chelsea FC. Some record this is, it’s only when you retire and appreciate how good Liverpool have been to even get close to it. Will This Ever Be Beaten?”
