Thomas Tuchel might just have been appointed as Chelsea boss on Tuesday, the German tactician already has an idea of the key players in his team.
According to The Guardian, Tuchel is a huge fan of Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, who struggled for starts this season under previous boss Frank Lampard.
The Guardian also reports Tuchel believes he can work with Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho and N’Golo Kanté in central midfield. This could be bad news for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.
Tuchel, known for his high tempo attacking football, sees vast potential in Chelsea’s attack with the German excited to work with Christian Pulisic, who he managed at Borussia Dortmund, and Hudson-Odoi.
Kai Havertz and Timo Werner struggled under Lampard and Tuchel reportedly spoke to both players before training on Tuesday.
The German tactician reportedly has a close relationship with Thiago Silva after managing the centre-back at PSG.
