Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi is currently on loan with Crystal Palace, but it hasn’t gone well for him so far.
The Chelsea loanee was recently reported to have been involved in a training ground bust-up and had to be separated from Crystal Palace captain Luka Milivojevic whom he clashed with.
This added a sour note to what has been a disappointing loan spell away with the Eagles. However, Batshuayi wasn’t sanctioned for the bust-up and wouldn’t be sent back to Chelsea this January as well, as he is set to complete his season-long loan deal.
Performance wise, Michy Batshuayi hasn’t matched up his previous loan success with Palace. He’s not started a league game in two months, playing just 53 minutes outside of a 1-0 loss in the FA Cup, and is currently fourth choice striker at the club, as he has found himself behind the likes of Wilfried Zaha, André Ayew and even Christian Benteke.
Batshuayi is yet to register a goal in 12 Palace appearances, signalling his poor form. The 27-year-old will have a year left in his Chelsea contract at the end of this season.
