Sunday’s 3-1 Premier League defeat to Manchester City means Chelsea have now lost four of our last six Premier League games.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is now under huge pressure as he fights to keep his job as Chelsea boss.

According to reports, the Chelsea board are prepared to back Lampard despite Chelsea’s poor form but have warned Lampard that there must be marked improvement in results between now and the end of the season – particularly after our huge summer spending spree.

Chelsea spent over £200million during the summer transfer window but Lampard has been unable to get the best out of summer signings Timo Werner and Kai Havertz.
