According to Defensa Central via teamtalk, an agent has offered Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud to Real Madrid for just €5million this month.
The report doesn’t make it clear if the agent involved is Giroud’s agent Michael Manuello.
The Spanish champions are in the market for a striker following Luka Jovic’s departure on loan.
Despite being in need of a striker following the departure of Jovic, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane reportedly turned down the chance to sign Giroud as he does not fit their long-term vision.
Meanwhile, reports in Italy claim Italian champions Juventus are progressing in talks to sign Giroud after agreeing to offer the France international an 18-month contract.
However Juventus will have to match Chelsea’s asking price of £5 million for Giroud.
