Hakim Ziyech has had limited playing time under new boss Thomas Tuchel, and reports claim that the Moroccan star isn’t happy with life under the new manager.
The winger has played just 634 minutes in the Premier League and was a key player under former boss Frank Lampard.
Just last week, Italian media outlet Calciomercatoweb claimed that Hakim Ziyech is considering his future at Chelsea and could leave for the Serie A in the summer after just one season at Stamford Bridge.
And now, another Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport, has reported that Hakim Ziyech ‘wants to leave’ Chelsea in the summer. The winger reportedly doesn’t feel that he is a part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans and will soon seek to hold a meeting with Marina Granovskaia to sort out his future.
Roma and AC Milan are believed to be the two clubs who are interested in signing the winger, who turns 28 in March.
Tuchel has urged Ziyech to adapt to the Premier League demands first and that he ‘counts on him’, as the Moroccan star who struggled in the FA Cup game against Barnsley, hasn’t had another appearance in the league since the goalless draw against Wolves.
Ziyech’s contract runs till 2025 and Chelsea won’t definitely be considering letting him leave the club so soon.
