Former Chelsea defender David Luiz was involved in a controversy yet again, as the Gunners were beaten 2-1 by Wolves in Tuesday’s night clash at the Molineux Stadium.

The Gunners had taken the lead through Nicolas Pepe in the 32nd minute, before Luiz conceded a penalty right on the stroke of half time as the Brazilian was deemed guilty of having tripped striker Willian Jose. It marked Luiz sixth conceded penalty and third red card since joining Arsenal.

According to stats, no other Premier League player has been able to match or beat that tally since Luiz’s debut for the club in August 2019.

Luiz was sold to Arsenal for just £8m, and Chelsea fans believe that he’s doing an inside job for Chelsea.
