Chelsea managed to go past Barnsley in the FA Cup fifth round clash, as the Blues narrowly won the game 1-0.

Up next for Chelsea in the quarterfinal of the competition is a home game against Sheffield United. Chelsea only recently defeated the Blades 2-1 in the Premier League, and this will prove to be another difficult cup clash.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is pleased to have gotten a home draw and has admitted that he’s expecting yet another difficult game against Sheffield United.

“Last Sunday I said afterwards that it felt like a cup game and they played it like that, and I was very happy we adapted in the way we did and accepted this challenge, because it was a very intense game and we took away a deserved win,” Tuchel said in reaction to the cup draw.

“It was hard for us to win and it will be hard to play against them but it is the quarter-final of the most prestigious cup competition in the world.

“We are happy that we can play them at Stamford Bridge because it saves us a lot of travel but we will prepare for another intense game and we will be ready, I am absolutely convinced.”
