FA Cup quarter-final draw: Chelsea to face Premier League club after beating Barnsley 1-0

Chelsea progressed to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after beating Championship side Barnsley 1-0.

Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham scored the only goal of the game with Reece James, a half-time sub, providing the assist for the goal.

Chelsea will face Premier League side Sheffield United in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge after our victory over Barnsley at Oakwell on Thursday night.

Chelsea met Chris Wilder’s side just four days ago in the Premier League, coming away from Bramall Lane with a hard-fought victory courtesy of goals from Mason Mount and Jorginho. The last time we faced them in the FA Cup was February 1992 when we won 1-0.

The FA Cup quarter-final games are scheduled to take place over the weekend of March 20-21.

The draw in full:

Everton vs Manchester City
