Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas was well loved by the Chelsea fans within the few years he spent at the club.

The former Barcelona academy product went back to play for Barca after leaving Chelsea rivals Arsenal, and spent three years with the La Liga giants between 2011 and 2014, before returning to the Premier League to play for Chelsea in 2014.

Fabregas, now at Monaco, has played with a lot of quality talents during his career span and he has rated Lionel Messi as the perfect footballer. He also hailed the speed of Thierry Henry and the hearts of Carles Puyol and John Terry. However, when it came to passing skills, he won’t trade his passes for any other.

He recently told reporters: “From all the players that I played with? I don’t really need to pick many, I will pick Lionel Messi and you have the perfect footballer right there. I don’t have to go that far.

“I would have the speed of Thierry Henry, the quality and intelligence of Messi, the heart of Carles Puyol or John Terry. The last pass, I don’t think I will change that for anyone, I would stick to mine to be honest!

“That’s the kind of player I look up to. I like to look at the very, very best and I was thankful always that God gave me the opportunity to play with the very, very best for many years.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
